What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?

My greatest personal accomplishment is obtaining my certification as an AICP planner in 2008

What is your primary personal development goal/business goal for the next 5 years?

My primary goal is to continue do develop and excel in my field.

What is your biggest philanthropic achievement?

A few years back I nominated a friend for Whitewater Christian Church's "Filling Needs Program" to help assist her with repairs to her her home. She was a single mother and unable to make repairs to her home due to otherexpenses. Luckily she was selected and that great weight was lifted off her shoulders.

What action/event that you've been a part of, that you believe has made the biggest difference in Laramie?Or are you most proud of?

I joined the City in 2005 and am proud to have assist with creation of the Laramie Comprehensive Plan. The Plan is a policy document that reflects the community's goals and vision for the next 20 years and is expected to serve as the guide for future policy decisions in Laramie. This document is the basis for policies and regulations and has made a difference in the community by providingdevelopment inline with the community's vision.

What excites you most about the future of Laramie?

Everything! The people, the students and the unique opportunities that are presented to us by having a world-class University in our community.

What do you think has helped make you successful in your endeavors?

I believe my success is mostly due to my strong work ethic, volunteerism, and being active in a variety of social and volunteer events.

What advice would you give to other young professionals in Laramie?

I cannot overemphasize how important it is to get out and get to know people and serve your community. By becoming involved in local organizations and events you are able to build relationships with people within your field and outside of your field. These relationships can prove to be invaluable in future business endeavors. The knowledge and insight you gain from others is invaluable and can surprisingly and unknowingly help you with your career goals.
