First American Title Insurance Company

What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?

My family, a wife & mother of 2 beautiful, high energy girls (ages 4 & 5) as well as my job. I have worked for First American Title for 11 years. I started as an escrow assistant right out of college with no knowledge of the industry. I wanted to be successful in my career so I have worked very hard to get to where I am today. I am currently the assistant manager and senior escrow officer.

What is your primary personal development goal/business goal for the next 5 years?

I was born and raised in Laramie, I love this community and my goal over the next 5 years is to get more involved. I want to support our community and the people who work hard to make it what it is.

What is your biggest philanthropic achievement?

Working in unison for Christmas for Kids in Laramie, First American Title has provided Christmas gifts for families in need for the last few years. It is amazing to hear what this organization does for the children in Laramie, last year they were able to provide gifts and food for 600 children, and I am proud to be a part of this heartwarming organization.

What action or event that you’ve been a part of do you believe has made the biggest difference in Laramie? Or, which action or event are you most proud of?

Being part of the Business Alliance is very rewarding. I am currently in the Leadership Laramie class of 2018-2020, I attend Business After Hours, the annual Golf Chamber Tournament, the Ag Banquet as well as the Annual Business Alliance Banquet. It is wonderful to be part of an organization that does so much for their community.

What excites you most about the future of Laramie?

Downtown Laramie, it is amazing to hear what is happening and how far it has come in just the last couple of years. The Laramie Downtown is active and vibrant and always looking for ways to improve. That is exciting and I look forward to being a part of it.

What do you think has helped make you successful in your endeavors?

I genuinely love my job, I like what I am doing and who I am doing it for. Every day I get to interact with people who are buying, selling and/or refinancing their homes and it is a joy to be involved. I want my family to be proud of who I am and what I am doing, so I keep that in mind daily.

What advice would you give to other young professionals in Laramie?

I would say to work hard and be honest and enjoy what you do.
